James Bond Golden Eye Film Poster

The main vocal point of the poster is the gun and fire suggesting the genre of the film is action. The flames and gun indicate danger and excitement. The man is clearly the protagonist as he is in the middle of the poster and is larger than the two women either side of him.

The two different colours of the background ,the black behind the character suggests that the colour mirrors the dark mood and experiences of the three characters. The women on the left looks as if she is more innocent due to the colour of her top which is pale colour which connotes pureness and youthfulness.  The women on the right is wearing a low cut black top suggesting that she is the villain and sex symbol.

The font used on the title is bold making it eye-catching to the audience. The gold colour suggests that the film is glamorous and saphisticated.The ring around the titles also connotes wealth. Under the title of the film there is a slogan which says ‘no time.no fears.no substitutes.” this gives us an idea of what the protagonist is like and his morals.

Behind the two women there are some digital readings which look like a map this connotes that the film is based round an adventure.

The protagonist holding a gun suggests that he has high importance because legally not everyone is allowed guns, this helps the audience work out the plot of the movie.
